We’re proud to announce that the short film Poacher: The Man With the Broken Brain has been officially accepted into the Brooklyn Sci-Fi Film Festival.
Poacher is a speculative thriller exploring empathy, justice, and the price of carrying another’s pain. The story follows a combat veteran whose participation in a neural empathy experiment leaves him forever changed — and drives him to hunt those who harm the innocent.
The feature-length screenplay, Poacher: Genesis, has been optioned by two independent producers, who are now seeking co-production partners via their production company Films of Alchemy & Grace, to bring this vision to the screen.
This milestone marks another step in the expanding SynOrganics universe — a world where biotechnology, morality, and consciousness collide.

POACHER
The Man With The Broken Brain
Meet the animal kingdom’s most relentless avenger—a war veteran turned vigilante who delivers justice in a way the world has never seen. A side effect from a beta test for a brain-to-brain interspecies interface gives him the ability to absorb the pain of abused animals and and relocate that neural data to their abusers. Poacher ensures that those who harm the innocent live with the torment they’ve caused. He's a Groundhog Day for bad guys.
A word to sensitive readers: Poacher confronts the darkest sides of human cruelty. It's not presented in a gratuitous manner, but it is ugly. The focus is on the raw power of empathy and justice. For those seeking a bold new hero, this introduction to Poacher is a thrilling, uncompromising journey.
